Search me oh God as my soul laments to you.
Cleanse me because I am impure.
But I trust in your mercies;
As grandma always say “God’s mercies are ever-sure”.
Oh create in me a clean heart.
Purge me like a sewer cleaner who uses high-pressure water to break up the blockage, and scour the pipe walls.
Flush the debris of my heart so I may worship you in spirit and in truth.
I know your promises to me but some times I fail to say yes and amen.
Teach me how to honor you in the midst of my low.
To love and to be loved makes my heart grows.
God, teach me how to love you and be loved by you.
I know you are The Father,
But help my unbelief in fathers.
Teach me to love the friends and family you have given me.
Show me the art of letting go;
My fingers are sticky, clinging to the past and bygones.
My flesh is determined to devour my purpose and digest my sanity in the process.
El Shaddai, Save me!
Isn’t my emergency Heaven’s urgency?
My flesh has put a bounty on my purpose.
What use is a buried purpose to the land?
In anxiety I paced back and forth on my fort;
Plant me Oh God so my feet are not moved.
I am committed to walking with you and for this, my flesh persecutes me daily.
Many are the afflictions of my soul, tormented by soul ties.
But I trust you are delivering me, even now.
Scripture Support: Psalm 18:6 “In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.”
Great poem God loves our dependency on Him!
