The Lions Are Coming

The sky cracked open
To the sound of their roaring.
The vibrations of their prayers
Are like the rhythm of a Congo drum
Played skillfully by hands that know long suffering.

Their cries of “enough is enough”
Came knock, knock, knocking
On Heaven’s door.
Like a referee saying “lets get ready to rumble”
The urgency of their prayers sounded the alarm
In Heaven like a watchman with a Shofar
In Sub-Saharan Africa, awakening the resting lions.

With orangey-brown eyes
And a fierce stare through the grass
In which they prowl
The state of emergency in the world
Has awaken the lions.
They are the watchers of the Kingdom,
They are intercessors
And they are coming.
The lions are coming with roars of judgement
And God’s retribution.

They are coming with justice for injustice.
They are coming with answers to prayers.
They are coming with new laws for old laws.
They are coming for the sacrifice before the revival.
They are coming to protect the walls of Jerusalem,
They are coming to rip apart king Ahab and to devour Jezebel.
They are coming for the occults and their altars to Baal.
They are coming, the Lions are coming.

Not as the kings of the jungle
But as the Warriors of Christ
The Lions are coming because He has wept.
The weeping of The Father and the brokenness of His heart
Have awaken His lions, both near and far.
Lions from Africa, Lions from America, Lions from China, Lions of Russia,
Lions from the United Kingdom and Lions from the Caribbean.
The Lions are Coming!!!

Scripture Support:
Hosea 11:10
“They shall go after the Lord; he will roar like a lion; when he roars, his children shall come trembling from the west;”.
Amos 3:7-8 “For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. The lion has roared; who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken; who can but prophesy?”
Jeremiah 50:44 “Like a lion coming up from Jordan’s thickets
to a rich pastureland, I will chase Babylon from its land in an instant. Who is the chosen one I will appoint for this? Who is like me and who can challenge me? And what shepherd can stand against me?”
