His Wounds, Our Healing

Pure and True,
A healer to me and you.
All powerful, everlasting, and ever-sure,
He is the cure.
His generosity is unmatchable
And His kindness irreplaceable.
He became justice for our injustice.
He paid the penance for our sins.
He was pierced for our transgressions,
Crushed for our crimes;
But His punishment brought us peace,
And it is by His wounds that we are healed.
It is because of His wounds that we have authority over cancer.
It is the blood from His wounds that cover us from premature death.
Had He not been wounded–
Where would you be?
