Archer, Bow and Arrow

God is the Archer,
We are the Bow, and the Arrow His purpose.
We are like bows in God’s hands
His purpose for our lives is the arrow.

A bow in the Archer’s hands undergoes Pressure: pulling, bending, and straining
In order to align the arrow with the target.
The Archer has one shot to hit the target, Therefore He tilts the bow to get precision.

The Archer has to keep in mind
The wind’s pressure and the wind’s direction.
He observes seasons and the obstacles
Before shooting His arrow.
The wait is one of assurance and accuracy.
Be patient.

He waits until the appointed time.
While He is waiting the bow is under pressure, He holds the bow with a firm grip
And pulls on its string to accumulate speed.

The bow feels like it is about to break
From all the pulling and bending.
But God being a skilled bowyer,
Is aware of the bow’s potential and knows that it will not break.

Therefore, He continues to pull until the Appointed time then He releases the arrow.
You are an arrow of deliverance
Piercing the hearts governed by the law of the land.
Cutting through bones and marrow
Severing soul ties
And assassinating principalities in high places.
As bows, you have to trust the Archer’s method. You will not break!!

Psalms 64:7 “But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.”

  1. 🔥🔥🔥This is Amazing! I love the analogy of purpose by way of the bow. That stretching and tension part… it’s so vital for accuracy. Lord I trust you and delight in your skillful ability to wield me🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
