Like the Clash of the Titans,
There is a war between the Spirit and the Flesh.
Who will win should be in your best interest.
Flesh Speaking:
I lived a sheltered life so I deserve to be curious,
Therefore, I earned my wandering eyes.
I have been so traumatized from the brokenness of my childhood.
I am in desperate need of healing,
Why not sip this to suppress that.
The winter is coming, a season for cuddles
Bodily heat to warm my lonely heart, not bad.
God will understand,
Remember you get new mercies at sunrise.
Sit in my lustful thoughts, be enticed
Worry bout repentance later,
Fret not of the price
For grace is unmerited favor.
Spirit Speaking:
Be not lured by this trickster
And do not enter into his arena
He is a swiper,
Cry: Swiper no swiping!
He seeks to sift you like wheat
Disrupt your process
And condition your mind,
He is no friend of mankind.
Listen, wait before you do that
Hear me out,
You have gone so long without using that substance
Carry on.
Wait,
Lets reason before you lay with sin
And conceive a baby
Who you then have to feeds.
Yes, you get new mercies every morning
But, do not tempt the Lord your God.
And His grace, Do Not abuse.
Remember, that you shall not live by bread alone.
What has your diet been like?
What have you been eating?
What’s in your cup?
God Speaking:
Let the rumble begin!
Let the best fighter win—-
But Spirit, remember glory awaits, so don’t give in.
Ding! Ding!
Scripture Support: Roman 7:15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
Thank God for the all saints of God and their prayers- one of our strategic weapons- going up for each other always
